How does the UTIA Personnel Directory Web Site work?
UTIA Personnel Directory Web Site communicates with the UTIA Personnel Database to obtain the information to display on the page. The UTIA Personnel Database is updated weekly. It downloads the employee information from the UT Human Resources Employee Database (IRIS). The information displayed on this site is as follows. Some items are stored and maintained by the UTIA Personnel database and is editable on this site. Some items on this site come from IRIS and are not editable.

What if my information is incorrect?

If your name, office location (address) or office telephone number is incorrect, you must submit "Personal Data Form" so that UT Human Resources Employee Database (IRIS) will have the correct information. The changes are made by the UT Human Resources. It may take up to approximately a month for your information to be updated and appear correctly on the UTIA Personnel Directory.

Please Note *:
  • NetID@tennessee.edu is the university-wide address, which cannot be changed by an individual. Preferred E-mail address or Alias mail address can be changed by the account holder (you). When it's changed, we have no way to know we need to update it in our database. This is why UTIA Personnel Database does not have @utk.edu address any more. E-mails sent to your NetID@tennessee.edu, Preferred e-mail address and Alias e-mail address all come in the same mail box.
