CASNR Campaign Goals. . .
- Attract a Diverse and Academically Prepared Student Population
- Enhance and Extend Instruction and Co-Curricular Activities
- Expand International Dimensions of the Curricula
- Expand Professional Development for Faculty and Staff
EXPAND INTERNATIONAL DIMENSIONS OF THE CURRICULA
HIGHEST PRIORITIES:
Student Scholarships, $1 million endowment.
Scholarship support for study abroad programs will increase the number of undergraduates who are able to participate in international opportunities, making these valuable experiences more accessible to UT students. International internships for CASNR students, as well as research opportunities, and semester abroad programs should also be expanded. An endowment that provides a minimum of $50,000 annually will advance these programs.
Professional Development, $1.5 million endowment.
The establishment of a professional development fund will provide the college an edge by enabling faculty members to develop partnerships that facilitate study abroad programs, international internships, and research opportunities. To create and enhance these educational experiences, an endowment is needed that provides a minimum of $75,000 annually.
